My child(ren)

So far in my motherhood journey I have given birth to two beauty children.  

My first born, was a son.  His name is Aiden.  He is now 5.  The smartest boy I have ever met!  The memory he has is better than anyone I have ever known.  Sure it could be because he hasn't had to remember so many things yet......I hope that isn't the case.  I hope he keeps his amazing memory!  Sure there are some memories I wish he didn't have, but isn't that a wish for most?  Did I mention how handsome he is?!?!  He is gonna be a heart breaker when he grows up....I will teach him right.  To not break hearts as a game, to love with his heart wide open and his head on straight.

My second child, a daughter.  Her name was MacKenzie.  She was the most beautiful girl in the world.  She would be almost 2 and a half if she were still with us today.  She was diagnosed with Brain Cancer when she was just 2 days past 5 months.  She had a brain tumor removed just 3 days before turning 5 months.  She started her chemo treatments when she was 5 and a half months.  (Unfortunately, I still know all the dates of when the big things happened.....).  She passed away from complications from her compromised immune system due to the chemo she was getting.  She was 1 week shy of her 10 month birthday.  It will be 2 years on May 11th.  She passed away 2 days after mothers day in 2010.  Yep, that means it will fall on mothers day quite often.  Her laughter spread so much joy to anyone who met her.  That smile could light up any room!  She is missed and always will be.

..........I have yet to have any other children.  We are currently trying to expand our family, I'm praying and hoping (hope is all we have to hold on too anymore .....) for a little girl.  

Who knows what my next entry will be about......I wish I would have written this while I was going through all the stuff with my daughter...I would have been able to write pages upon pages!

For starters

Hello, my name is Jessica.  

This blog entry will explain a little bit about myself.  I was born and raised (most of my life) in Southern California.  I spent my summers as a youth in Tucson, AZ.  I also lived there with my grandparents for almost 2 straight years.  My parent's divorced when I was young.  I had a great life, heck I had 2 Christmas's, Easter's, so and so forth.  I am not saying it wouldn't have been nice to have one of each with my whole family together.  But I am not complaining.

I have 2 older brothers and a younger sister. Boy was I happy when I got my sister!! 

Growing up in Southern California was fun.  Going to the beach, Disneyland, Mountains, etc.  I had those thoughts and wants of leaving and traveling the world.......never happened.  YET!

All I ever wanted to do was be a mom.  I used to play with my dolls acting as if they were my babies.  I played house with my little sister...pretending she was my baby.

Hope is the only thing left in the world,
